Five people have died after a fiery car accident in Miami-Dade County, FL just before 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2010.

Good samaritan Jose Miguel Vazquez was working in a nearby car dealership showroom when he witnessed the silver Infiniti crash through a fence and into a tree, immediately catching fire. After arriving on the sceneof the car accident he realized he was too late to help. “I hear people screaming inside, “Please take me out!”

Police had been looking for a car involved in a fraud at a nearby Bank of America. An office spotted the vehicle in question and as he approached them the car fled at a high rate of speed.

Witnesses reported seeing the silver Infiniti, which was determined to be stolen, speeding at over 90 miles an hour. The driver lost control of the vehicle, causing the car accident. Vazquez describes the horrific scene, “Another female was in the backseat. She was like paralyzed probably because of the fire getting into her body. She was like with her lips, barely talking, saying, ‘Please help me.’”

Once rescue arrived, they pulled her out of the vehicle and as they were working on her, she was prounounced dead at the scene of the car accident.

The car has been taken to the medical examiner’s office with several bodies still inside. Police said it appears to have been four men and one woman inside the car. However, because of the severity of the accident and the fire damage, they will need more time to positively identify the deceased.
