Safety Starts with the Tires
Most people who own cars (75%) get a car wash at least once a month. ONLY 14% check their tire pressure each month. Properly filled tires that are in good condition not only make driving much safer, but also improve the smoothness of the ride! Simply looking at or kicking your tires are not accurate ways of checking the pressure, so invest in a tire gauge (a few dollars at most). Contrary to popular belief, tires should be checked when they are cold, rather than after driving, to get the most accurate reading. Extending the life of your tires is as easy as getting them rotated with every oil change (every 3,000 to 5,000 miles), but you should know when to replace them!
